The hotel and hostel combination was perfect! I loved having a single room with breakfast included, plus access to a common area and a kitchen to cook my own meals. The staff were friendly and even knew me by name. The facilities were clean and convenient, with a fridge and TV in every room and laundry facilities on site. The location was great too, with easy access to transportation to the city centre or the Blue Mountains rail line.
Nothing at all.

Convenient location to Vajrayana Institute (Buddhist Centre) Very nice communal area, courtyard & kitchen facilities. Nice light breakfast included.
Limited parking. Tea & coffee facilities are downstairs, so you cannot make morning cuppa in your room. Creaky floorboards in corridors.

The location of the hotel was convenient with little shops in the surrounding streets and easy access to the city via two train stations. However, parking was a bit difficult as it was only available somewhere in the side streets in that area. The rooms were clean and cozy, with air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The library was impressive with a wide variety of interesting books in great condition.
The towels were quite thin and well-used, making it feel a bit less luxurious.

The lounge areas, inside and out, were very relaxing, 8-10 mins walk to train station to the CBD
The room was not quite as large as we expected, local parking is available but perhaps could be arranged by Ashfield

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The value for money was excellent, with affordable prices that didn't compromise on quality. The attention to detail was impressive, from the clean and tidy rooms to the daily cleaning service. The location in a safe neighborhood was a major plus, with buses conveniently located right outside the hotel.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was absolutely fine.

The location was ideal for attending my conference. The room was clean and comfortable. It suited our purposes offering a nutritcious breakfast. The staff were affable and friendly.
The only thing that counts against the facility is the limited car parking spaces.

Ashfield Manor is economic, clean, comfortable b&b close to public transport (10-20mins to Sydney City) - they offer a wonderful breakfast (inlcuded in the cost) consisting of a selection of cereals and a variety of breads (love the fruit sourdough!) plus tea/coffee facility which is also available during the day. Friendly atmosphere. Good value for money.
Some rooms are a little small (as on this occasion) but having stayed previously the room sizes definitely vary and are usually quite accommodating.

Clean and convenient. The room was cozy and super clean, with all the amenities we needed like air-conditioning, LCD TV, and hot water. The hotel also had a good range of breads at breakfast, including delicious sourdough varieties. The public area sofas were very comfortable, and the bus stop right at the door made it easy to get to the city. Despite limited parking on site, we were lucky to find a spot for our car.

Rooms were comfortable & clean, although linen & towels were only changed once a week unless you asked. Continental breakfast was included and there is a kitchen for guests to use. The location was close to the train station for a 20-30 minute train ride into the city.
Apart from a small shopping mall and numerous chinese restaurants there was not much to see or do in the immediate area.

I recently had an enjoyable stay at this hotel in a neighborhood that felt very safe. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. One great aspect was the convenience of having buses right at the door, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Additionally, the breakfast included a variety of spreads, which was a nice touch.
Everything was great, no complaints whatsoever.

Location, convenient to train and bus, cleanliness, we were pleased to obtain one of the 3 onsite parking spots
Preferred to self-cater for breakfast, bit of a tight squeeze in bedroom and bathroom
